Black Eyed Female

hi everyone. I have a female parakeet that has black eyes. I had her for over a year and she is about a year and a half old. is she sick or something?

dont understand the question why would she be sick ??

Do you mean that she hasn't got a light colored iris yet? Elaborate please! :D

the whole eyes is black no light part. they look light a young bird would but she is a year and a half old.

Is she a recessive pied (has splotchy markings) if she is then this is totally normal. :D Also if she's all yellow or white with black eyes this would be normal too (for a dark eyed clear).

she does have yellow spots down her back. and her stomach is hald yellow and half green.

She sounds like a mutation know as recessive pied.. they don't get a lightened iris.

okay thanks everyone for your help. was getting worried but now that i know its normal I am happy :)
