hi, i have a pair of budgies that had 5 chicks and kiked them all out and has started a new clutch, she dosnt care about the chickjs anymore nor the father, i have just notice that all the chicks are able to crack seeds by them selves but im not sure if it is enough, i have a nestbox at the bottom of the cage where the chicks snuggle up together and stay warm. So is there anything i need to do or should i just leave them???

How old are the little ones?

If they are not getting enough food (check the crop to see if its full) you may need to handfeed them a little also.. Any hand feeding i do is done with a spoon and if you cant get any hand rearing mix, a human infant cereal mix is a good substitute (i've at times used Farex 4+months Baby Rice) If the parents are being aggressive to the little ones you need to remove them right away.. If they are eating seed by themselves, make sure they have acess to some still so they can practice eating on their own.
