I think shes a yellow faced skyblue type II recessive pied greywing spangle...am i correct? HOEPFULLY!!! October 28, 200618 yr Do you think recessive? For some reason she doesn't look recessive to me. It could be because of the diluted markings. I like the minty green colour. I still say no spangle because if you look at the flights growing in there is no tracing. I checked out your pbucket account and there were a few pics that showed clearly no tracing on those flights.
October 28, 200618 yr Author HAha yes Shawna...I thought she was a dominant pied aswell...As the other birds in the cage were dominant pied yellow faces with bright blue patches on their bodys...and there were also many blue dominant pieds...yet about 5 white recesives, and 4 recessives that looked similar to this baby whos now named Layla So...im not sure. Her eyes are black, and from what i can tell her wings look recessive though As i can see most of the primary flights have colour on them, and none of the primaries do.. (i dont think as her wings are clipped, but from what i can see, they look clear)...So time will tell!!! Is she greywing or clearwing? I thoght grewying? But now i think clearwing (Laughing out loud)... ps- Shawna, can you post pics of Bella (whatever ones you have) so i can compare wing markings? Thanks mate! Kirby :hap:
October 28, 200618 yr The photo is blurred to me Kirby. I think reseccive pied because of the lower banding of blue. There are no banding at the back of the eye that I can see. Wings are too blurry for me to tell. Sorry She could have a dilute gene stronger than greywing.
