Posted October 28, 200618 yr After Mumma Budgie died I was really worried for her husband as he had eyes for no one else. I followed some great advice & put a hen with him as close to Mumma Budgies looks as possible. This picture was taken today, he is very happy:

October 29, 200618 yr They are so beautiful! That has to be one of the best rewards for loving these little birds, watching their affection for each other. I sit for hours in front of my avairy! I can't get enough of them......am I an adict! Best of luck with them. Budgie Baby Edited October 29, 200618 yr by Budgie Baby
October 31, 200618 yr Author Glad that he is happy with his new love. She is gorgeous. What is her mutation? She is a white lacewing. :hap: They are so beautiful! Best of luck with them. Budgie Baby My parents complain that I take too long each Saturday morning feeding them. What should only take me an hour to supply fresh water, seed & vegies usually takes me 4+ because I spend so much time watching and talking to them. The Hen has started sitting in the box - which is good because I gave her an egg to foster.
