Well I'm handraising Twerp because of parental abuse. The other lutino I found dead in the nest box - squashed under the other babies not attacked.

Now I'm sure on the Mothers side 2 generations back there is no blue gene.

On the fathers side there is no blue gene back 3 generations.

1 green & 1 that looks more Teal in person than sky:

blue snuck in there some where, someone done the line was split on both side but it didn't express itself until now.

beautiful babies! Sorry to hear about the squashed one. :( good luck with Twerp.

Both parents would have to be split for blue to get a blue baby. :o That would mean they have blue gene, unless mommy had a fling with someone with a blue gene. :D were they colony bred? or breeder box bred?

What colour would you say this baby is?

My dad said she isn't Sky, she definately isn't cobalt. To my eye she looks Teal. Is that such a colour? Boris' grandfathers brother was the same colour.

I would say she is a sky blue, the teal is becuase of the yellowface (might even be a goldenface)
