Posted October 24, 200618 yr Hi All, I just put a new cage on lay-away. It is a used one but in perfect condition. I forgot to measure it but I know that it is about 35 inches wide and deep and about 40 inches tall without the stand. I was thinking I could put my 6 birds in it together for the winter and then separate them again for breeding next summer. I would love to have them together. They are three bonded pairs. Do you think this would be a problem? Thanks guys Shell
October 24, 200618 yr It sounds like a pretty good size for six, especially if they get time out of the cage regularly. How deep is it? Edited October 24, 200618 yr by eterri
October 25, 200618 yr Thanks for responding! The cage is about 35 inches deep and 35 wide and about 40 inches high without the stand. Thanks again, Shell
October 25, 200618 yr It may be a couple of weeks before I can pick it up, but I think I will go to the shop and take pictures of it today or tomorrow. I want you all to see it. I am very excited for my birds to get to spend more time as a flock. Right now they are in smaller cages with a bonded pair in each cage. I sure hope they don't swap mates! I have it all figured out they way I want them to breed next year! :(Laughing out loud): (The best laid plans of breeders and budgies....) Anyway I will have pics in a day or so. Thanks for the responses, Shell
