Great Pics. There is only one day difference between our babies. Yours are one day older. I am posting some more of mine today.

I think I may have been wrong about #2's sex, in the past couple of days she's developed little grey patches on her shoulders, so looks like she may just be a pied male.

#1''s getting pin feathers, almost looks like he's going to have a mostly white tail with a couple of blue feathers, I'll know for sure in a few days though.

the other 2 are starting to get downy, #4's eyes opened today, neither of them have any grey patches of black dots yet, #3 is a week and a day old #4 is a week old today.

Thanks »-(¯`Una´¯)-»

#3 is starting to get grey like #2 has so s/he is more than likely a pied as well, I'm not sure what exactly #1 is coloring out to be.

this is a picture of #2 at 5 days old just before his/her eyes opened.

owwwww so adorable!

Thanks Thirtyfive Black.

well, #2 is a normal blue yellowface cock, # 2 I believe has white on her belly so.. sky blue, opaline dominant pied yellowface hen, and #' 3 and 4 seems to be the same as #2, one of 'em may still come up to be a clearflight pied, belly feathers haven't really started yet on the last 2.

#1 is the sweetest

#2's has begun learning that biting is fun!

#3 is probly going to be a nipper, like #2

#4 seems to be the calmer of the hens, that may change though.

#'s 3 and 4 are two weeks old as of yesterday and today, #'s 1 and 2 will be 3 weeks old on the 3rd and 4th

Great pictures. They are so sweet. Keep us informed please?

Thanks,

Shell

I just finished a roll of film the other day, just need to find the time to get it developed.

  • Author

well I took the film to get developed and the store sent me home with the wrong CD, so.. I took a couple with the web cam, they aren't anywhere near as good as the film camera pics are but it's all I can supply for now.

#1 normal blue yellowface.

#2 knawing on my finger, yellowface dominant pied opaline

Picture015.jpg

#'s 3 and 4, Same mutation as #2

Picture025.jpg

#2's wings, all 3 of the opaline pieds have almost exact the same wing markings.

some pics of #1 and #2 with better lighting.

#2 has 2 blue tail feathers on the side, thats the only way I can tell her and #3 apart.

Picture038.jpg

Picture043.jpg

#2 with my finger in her mouth again, she's likely a yellowface type II as her tail feathers and some of the wing feathers have a yellow tinge.

Oh they are georgeous

#1 left the box yesterday, he spent the day out and went back in before lights out, and he was back out this morning.

#2 hasn't left the box yet.

  • Author

Thanks, chicks 1, 2 and 3 are out of the box, I am concerned that the parents aren't feeding them :hap: and the hen is getting moody with the male chick so she's being removed from the cage tonight and hopefully Boidie will feed them..

none of them are eating on their own yet.
