Posted October 20, 200618 yr I'd just like to show everyone a few pics and a video of Bluey on the playgym we were lucky enough to buy from Cheeta and her very clever hubby Daniel last week. My youngest son helped me put it together. Bluey landed on it a few times while we were putting it together, but I didn't get a shot of that because we were so busy. :(Laughing out loud): When it was finished we put all the new toys on, but Bluey was scared of them so we put some old familiar toys on and she was back in a flash! (she's happy with the new toys now - one week later) Queen of the castle! She does bite every part of it and even had the water cup nearly off so I had it empty for a while, but a minor adjustment and she can't move it now. (sorry about the mostly rear view ) http://s102.photobucket.com/albums/m107/le...laygymOct06.flv PS I did away with the newspaper on the top shelf because Bluey was eating too much of it. I went to the local print shop to buy a roll of the end of newsprint, but I had to buy 10! If anyone in Ballarat would like the end of a roll of unprinted newspaper please send me a pm. They cost me $2 each and are approximately a metre wide. Sorry I can't mail them because they are too heavy.
October 25, 200618 yr I swear i thought i posted a reply here... hmmm sorry... Bluey looks like she's really enjoying the gym. how is it going with it? i showed hubby the pics and vid, and he a great little laugh from the vid of her trying to squeeze inbetween the food and water dishes.. and so did I... I hope all is going well for you. cheers.
October 25, 200618 yr It's okay, you replied to my pm and I moved the post. All the new toys are on the playgym and Bluey's favourite part is the spiral ladder. She starts at the bottom, goes up a few rungs, rubs her cere on the next rung, moves up a bit further and has a chat, moves to the top and sits there chattering away. If we try to put any of her old toys on the rungs she throws them off! (Laughing out loud)
October 25, 200618 yr awwww wow that is fantastic!! Lucky you! She looks like she loves it - unlike my boys who never play on their gym...... I don't know if I would use any of the newsprint roll, I use normal newspaper to line the cage but there are bars at the bottom so they can't get to it to chew...
October 25, 200618 yr no probs Sherrie. If you need any when you move house - for wrapping breakables - ask if I've got any left or go to Rural Press printing for 10 rolls of your own. I don't use the bars on the bottom of the cage. Personal preference. Bluey is actually scared of moving paper, so to change the paper in her cage I take the top half of her cage off and put it on the towel on the table (with paper on it), go to work cleaning the bottom half, put new paper in and then put the top half back on again. [i'm beginning to realise why people think she's pampered ] I like your new sig.
