Damn ebay!!!!!!!!!! Look what it has done now!!! miscellaneous_188.gif

Is it too late to breed now? I mean with the weather getting hotter is it best not to put birds in. While the room is well ventilated, with a window and an open door, it gets the sun in the afternoon. Is there an easy and cheap way to keep it cool on hot summer days?

Cool bananas on your breeding set up

I would just use something like a pedistal fan that ocelates.

Really? Is that all? hehehe I thought you were gonna say "You should install a split system air conditioner and set it to a nice and pleasant 23 degrees" hahaha Thats heaps easier. :bluebudgie:

So I can still breed during these warm summer months if I use a fan?

Well just remeber that as the days lengthen and it becomes hotter and there is plenty of food and water there will be more breeding.

A fan sounds like a great idea. I am just setting up four more pairs before "Summer" gets here.

One last shot at breeding before the real heat attacks us.

Not sure what direction the sun comes in on but you could alfoil/ silver foil the window too, but you would have to have additional lighting then.

wish we could get stuff like that off ebay here in the states :P

nice find

Only at the start and depending on how hard it blows. You only need to havethe air moving.

Remember that Hot air rises so the cages should be "coolish" being on the ground.
