Posted October 14, 200618 yr Hey Guys, I was checking the nest boxes this morning to find one egg with a tiny hole, no more than an hour later curiosity got the better of me and I looked again only to find a tiny baby budgie! Yeah my fisrt baby. Well first baby budgie anyway. Thank-you all for your advise over the last few months. I will keep you all updated with three eggs still to go. I will post some photos soon. I didn't want to disturb mum and bub too much. KellyM
October 14, 200618 yr It's always exciting to see these little pink blobs appear. :dbb1: In all the babies I have bred I never get sick of seeing a new baby hatch out. It's like Christmas everytime. I actually saw one come out of its shell two days ago and it was a real thrill. :ausb: Congratulations on yours :angel1:

October 14, 200618 yr Congrats. I can't wait until my first pair actually have babies. I've enjoyed watching everyone's post about their successful clutches. Such beautiful little creatures!
October 15, 200618 yr I know exactly how you feel, I have a little one in the box and another one that externally piped today, and he's already announcing himself to the world, good luck with your little one(s), hope all the eggs hatch for ya and give you nice healthy strong chicks. :bluebudgie:
October 16, 200618 yr Baby number two has arrived! I Can't believe how much bigger baby number one is. I wouldn't have thought it had grown that much. Here are some pictures. Sorry they are a bit fuzzy but baby number one would not keep still. KellyM :feedbirds:
