October 26, 200618 yr I have NO clue Karen nothing really talks about suffision of the coloring just from the neck area and if neither of the babies are opaline it is ODD right? Because they should have had 100% opaline correct? So if the babies are not opaline then the mutation on 1 of the birds at least is incorrect.
October 26, 200618 yr But even spangle opalines have the V shape of body colour between their wings. Let's see if i can find a picture showing my spangles with their showing wing colour: (between his wings, around the top of his wings) (can't see green but can see clear patch between wings, not body colour though so not opaline) (best picture, shows colour really well! not an opaline) Just looking back at the photos Dad is marked like Blinkie, colour only up the top of his wings. Mummy looks a bit more confusing but she really only colour on the top of her wings too, she has a clear patch but not body colour - like Ozzie who is also dominant pied spangle.
