Posted October 12, 200618 yr :hap: Haven't been here lately as I have been moving (and I am still moving, fraught with problems and having little time off from work and my computer wasn't connected until today). BUT, I am very happy to report, of all my birds, the budgies are just fine! :hap: Although I thought there would be more room, there is less in my new residence but the budgies are happy and singing away and enjoy their out of cage time. They were silent the first day but quickly came around. (and Coco cut out her egg laying). My tiel is very insecure and clings to me but she is slowly getting better as is my Rosey Bourke, lovies very clingy as well but are coming around. My appreciation to Comet, Monty, Happy, Buddy and Coco for keeping their cool while I haven't! Budgies are Great! :hap:
October 12, 200618 yr :hap: Thanks Lovey, have so MUCH stuff to do but I am so happy my lovie Phoebe isn't plucking right now, so let us pray that continues with the new residence and Coco's egg laying ceases. Many pages of prior posts to go through, will do my best.......... :hap:
October 12, 200618 yr Wonderful....I have been missing you. Hope all is well with your settling in. Pictures when you can ? Cheers Karen :hap:
October 12, 200618 yr :hap: Thanks Bubbles, heavens knows where that camera is, we have so MUCH stuff for goodwill, hope my blessed Charlie is doing great. Again, the budgies have adapted so well, all the tradesmen and associates that have come to the house comment on how happy the house sounds. (The young internet fellow said "Whoa, Birds, Cool". Fortunately the wireless modem seems to be performing well now. (they had probs connecting me). Will catch up on the Budgie Hilton News, can't wait! :hap:

October 12, 200618 yr Glad to hear you are somewhat settled in! i hate moving. it gives me nightmares to think of our next move, we've been in our house since Kate was 1 year old, so i cant imagine packing & moving all that crud!
October 13, 200618 yr Thanks Anna, 17 years in the same place.........it's a nightmare and a trip down memory lane when I see everything showing up that I haven't seen or thought of for years. Budgies still singing up a storm, happy where ever they are!
October 13, 200618 yr :glare: He is messing around OVER here! There are tools all around, you should see the front clothes closet by the main entrance! He took my Mom to the doctor today for which I am truly grateful as I can't take anymore time off work. The ex-landlord (ex-boyfriend from 20 years ago) would rather mess up my new place rather than clean up his old place even though it is up for sale. Personally I think he misses the birds, according to my Mother, he chats them up and I know has even brought them new treats. :ausb:
