I didn't post for some time (we are buying a new house, so we are busy :hap: ).

So this is my only showing budgie Jupiter, I got him at the of August

How gorgeous!

Can we have more pics of your birds cages pleaseee?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I LOVE how you make your own cages! Your so creative! And your birds are so lucky!

Thank you, I'm not the creative one here, my husband builds them (but I'm helping of course :hap:  ). But I don't think wooden cages are that good anymore. They are very difficult to keep clean. I got desinfection from my vet and I spend the whole day cleaning them. So I decided to buy a new cage (metal one) - don't have pics yet.

But not for long - we are buying a new house now with a huge garden (about 1500 m2), so I'm going to build two big aviaries (one for the budgies and one for the cockatiels)

I can't wait :)

I'll send pictures as soon as I make some

what a cutie :P Have you plans of breeding with him? or just fell in love with him.

I just fell in love :P

I wanted to buy a gray showing female, but I have many females, so I got him. He is from a pet shop and he's missing the led band (there were other two showing budgies in the same cage with him and they had red leg bands), I didn't see he's missing it till I got home. I called the shop and they said they will contact the breeder and let me know, but they never phoned back :P - nasty people. But maybe it's better, I've heard that budgies get hurt often from these leg bands.

I don't know if I'm going to breed budgies again, I'll see.

But there is one little problem - Jupiter is in love with Shadow (male :D )

:(Laughing out loud): Gay budgies seem to be very common, in fact since i set my budgies up for breeding i've noticed one gay couple become extra kissy and lovey despite the fact that there are ladies without boyfriends!! :P Your budgies are absolutely gorgeous. :D

I have lots of gay pairs actually :):P

I'm glad for this post...I feel a little relieved. My Anthony and Monkey are totally in love and inseparable and there are 2 females around but they don't care one whit.

Yes, male budgies are strange, I have some "lonely" females too, but the boys have eyes just for each other :):P:D
