Cinnamon was out first today...she was doing little flights and bunny hops about the aviary ..( named by Lovey) .

MARS came next and was flying the full length of the aviary right from the nest. MARS is the son of Pluto and Saturn and was raised in Kayas nesting box with Sonny as adopted dad. Named by Kirby

They are a nice pair of babies. Mars is flying really well. He is flying everywhere with his Mum and Dad first time out of the box. Cinnamon is sitting and gathering her courage. I have put them back in the nestbox for the night.

In the nest box are two of Macey Greys and Prince's....a mauve or grey opaline ( he has a damaged foot from nestbox injury and cannot perch properly ) and we have this one too

I love the Cinnamon she looks like a llittle bald eagle. Maybe you should change her name to Freedom she is a cutie.

I think this new one will be a violet not mauve it looks really lavender on my screen.

S'okay Lovey...this one IS a violet. A violet greywing maybe ? The mauve one I meant was the grey looking opaline still in the nesting box...the one with the injured foot.

Also Freedom is a good name

see too early for me in the states if I would have read it correctly the first time

I will try for some more photos of these two tomorrow.

Both babies are flying around the aviary. Mars is doing laps around the aviary with his Dad. :hap:

I keep coming back and looking at these pictures! I really just have to have that baby, Karen. Mars is such a beautiful boy. They all are, mind you, but I think he is something else. I just love his coloring.

Mars parents are together for another try........ They didnt raise Mars, so they are fresh and able to produce another clutch. Mars is a lovely boy, he has a glint in his eye and an excitement for life. Currently slightly restrained as they are now in a smaller avairy for awhile and he likes to fly more than he is getting a chance to.

Cinnamon is lovely but I agree with Rainbow (even before I read her post) that Mars is just gorgeous.
