I am off to the vets with my foster budgie Rocket tonight and I was just wondering what is the best way to transport her there - sorry if that seems like a silly question but having never taken a budgie to the vets I don't know what's best and the least stressful for her!

I have a smaller travel cage for such trips. Make sure all the doors and entries are tied down securely though.

if you only have the one cage just remove any toys they can get tangled in, so no hanging ones and remove the seed and water they don't need it for the short trip. If you think the vet might want to see what they are eating you can take some in a bag.
