This Opal as spider budgie... I'm not sure what makes her do this but she enjoys climbing upside down on the roof of her cage sometimes.

I love upside down budgies! I'm sure my first budgie Pip spent more time hanging upside down than being the right way up when he was in his cage, he even slept like it sometimes. Doesn't the blood go to their heads???

Moon loves to do this also when she is hyper or excited. Got to get Moon a bigger cage for that.

Skip does this all the time, I think he knows that it draws attention coz he does it more when i have people around he hangs upsidown and chirps as if to say 'look at me!!!'

Ozzie used to do that when he was a baby.

:(Laughing out loud): young Lucky does that, he turned 6 weeks old today and whenever anyone is at the kichen table he does his spider climb then twists himself almost inside out, but as soon as someone stands up he throws himself against the cage door and chirps. I'm sure he is saying 'get me out' and when he is out he likes to climb down your shirt, doesn't care if your male or female as long as he can explore the inside.
