September 30, 200618 yr They are good cages Bea. I have one that I keep and I put my babies in it until they can go to the aviary. Plenty of room for them to explore everything Cindy
September 30, 200618 yr very very nice Bea they are going to have so much fun now you have an empty cage for....
September 30, 200618 yr Author A canary is what i want next. But i doubt that's happening so i'll keep it for a hospital cage or quarantine if i get any more budgies, it's a better size than my other one.
October 1, 200618 yr How do you find your birds cope with the vertical bars on that cage Bea ? I have a friend who's bird is in a cage with vertical bars and her budgie gets really stressed trying to grip onto the sides of the cage and every time slides back down it cos the feet cant grip and stay in one spot. She is changing her cage.
October 1, 200618 yr Author Really?? Wow, my boys have no trouble at all!! They climb around all the time with no trouble.
October 1, 200618 yr All of my cages have vertical bars. Mine don't seem to mind. I think it is good exercise for them too - a little harder to hang on.
October 1, 200618 yr I love those cages. I think my budgies PREFER vertical bars. They love to climb up and sliiiide back down them. It's possible that the spacing is too large for that person's budgies, Bubbles. They shouldn't have any trouble managing the bars.
