Let me introduce you to my new baby "Lucky". He is called Lucky because he was pretty lucky not to be one of the eggs we took away.

He was hatched 27th Sept. then kicked out of the box and was cracking seed by the 25th Sept. He is now indoors and had his first flight yesterday. Last night he decided to investigate what was under my husband's tee shirt. It looked so cute. Today he flew out of his cage and landed on my elderly neighbours arm. He is really adorable

 

The others are still all in the nest box.

Lucy had his first big flight today. Landed on top of wall units, light fittings, and air conditioning vent (ours are in the ceiling) just as well they were not switched on.

Then he went back to his cage - with a little finger help from us, then curled up into his nesting box.

As he was so young we put a spare breeding box in the bottom of his cage and he goes in there to recuperate after his long flights. Oh me, he had a big day.
