I have already posted in the color forum, but thought i should tell you a little about me. My name is Melanie and i live in a really really small town (village) in Quebec, Canada. I live with my husband our 18months old son Moose, my 4 year old daughter Winter and his son Jean-mitchel and his cat Phantom. And last but not least Petey bird. Its been a week today since i got him or her. She is very tame and knows "up" and sometimes she even comes when we call her. And now some pics

I was thinking Moose was a very strange name for a kid :(

Hi and welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy it here.

:dbb1: Hello and nice to see Petey-Bird from different angles! Love your "son", guess your kitty is nice but I am so allergic to them it is hard to be impartial......... :ausb:

Yes Moose is treated as our baby. As for the cat i am not to fond of cats since i lost my first cat when i was 16 but he is a pretty good cat, i am just not close to it. As for petey i think i am creating a monster. Every time he has to be in his cage he freaks out and tries to get out. He is out most of the day but sometimes i do have to leave my house and i just feel so quilty. He looks at me through the bars as if to say take me with you. Is there anything i can do to make his time more enjoyable when he has to be in the cage. He has toys and 3 different kinds of perches but he doesn't play with the toys he just tries to get out. He is a very cuddly bird who always has to be near you. Any ideas would be great.

Melanie

when you add him to the cage add his favorite treat too :P, he will be busy eating that to worry you have left and it gives a positive experience to be in his cage. Right now it is a negative to him because you are not in the cage with him :(Laughing out loud): if you were he probably wouldn't worry about getting out :P.

Anyways, welcome to our forums

Hi, and welcome.

I love all your animals.. Petey-bird are just simply gorgeous!! I love his colour!

Welcome! I love that white leg on Phantom! He is a pretty cat. I used to have cats many moons ago, very different than having a dog, that's for certain. Moose looks like a big baby. :P Don't you just love having animals in the house?

Petey-bird is very pretty, and it's great he is seeking out your attention so much already. I look forward to seeing more pictures.
