just a few minutes ago my two budgies were on my finger when i looked back at them they were feeding each other and preening each other i have them in my room and all they are doing are following each other and mutual preening is this a good sign of a very bonded couple who i would have a chance on breeding

they wouldn't eat millet spray without each other

The fact that he was feeding her is a very good sign. How old are they? They should be over 12 months old to breed from.

Which one's the male?

Well they are definately old enough to breed. Have you got a breeding cabinet for them? The cock birds cere should be a nice dark blue and the hens a deep brown.

Rockets cere is nice and blue... Angels must get darker htough lil bro :D (Laughing out loud)

Like we talked about, i suggest you wait until her cere is dark brown..so a few more weeks..and this feeding is a great sign! Can we get a NEW picture of their cage so we can all see it? Thank!

If you intend on breeding you can go on and add a nest box. The male will bring the female into condition with his attentions. Some breeders on here say the best time to pair them up is right before the female's cere becomes real dark. In my limited experience, the hen had a very dark cere already so I can't vouch for that one way or the other. If you decide to breed them, please make sure you have homes for the babies before you put in the nest box if it is not feasible for you to potentially keep all of the babies.
