My beautiful white 14 yearold budgie has in the past month formed a fast growing black mass under his left wing., so much so that it now protrudes from under the wing. he is healthy and happy in every other eay and does not seem to be bothered by it all. Can anyone help with what this might be and what i should do about? I have always had a pet budgie in my life since i was a child (now in my late forties) and have never come across this before.

It really needs to be seen by an avian vet asap. A vet will hopefully be able to tell you what it is and should be able to treat it.
