I took this little video of my bro's bird Icsis running a marathon with herself on her wheel...It's funny, I never would have suspected budgies like hamster wheels until I saw one in a cage anyways...The video is a bit crappy but you can still see her tripping over herself

Just one word of warning, you may want to replace that wheel with one that doesn't have the slats. There are solid ones you can get that work much better for birds as their feet can't get caught. I might add one to my budgies cage to see if they take to it. I know a lot of them do.

 

I have a feeling mine will just get pooped on though.
