October 26, 200618 yr It always amazes me how quickly they grow up. It seems like forever for the feathers to come in, but then you say - hey, how'd they grow up so fast. They look great Kirbs!
October 27, 200618 yr Hi! I haven't looked in on this thread for a while - How your babies have grown! And such beautiful birds! Congratulations!
October 27, 200618 yr Oh Kirby!!! Quin reminds me of Petrie small and very cute!!! I can't believe how much they have changed!!!! I know you're happy that Lucky & tweety are going to be together. Sorry I haven't been on in a long time. My husband had quadruple bypass on the 17th. so things have been crazy here for Melissa and me. He is recovering well. I'm glad I finally checked up on your babies!! karen
October 28, 200618 yr good to see you back again.. hugs to you and your hubby and well wishes for a super speedy recovery..
November 2, 200618 yr Author Thanks you soo much ksgray anf family  I think its time for some updated pics of your bird and your great cage  All babies are doing great! Lucky and Tweety are sold, Toby is sold, and Grace is sold. A lady is coming this weekend to buy Quin  Overall im VERY happy for Kirby and Belle breeding for the first time, with fertile eggs, and 5 healthy babies being at this stage  Im also surprised at the colours they created. I have a yellow face skyblue, a cobalt blue, a violet normal, a yellow face blue type II, and a skyblue/white recessive pied  They are all gorgeous, and so unique and have amazing personalities!!!! Today, i rearranged the big cage, and added Lucky and Tweety to it with the rest of the flock (Chico, Ariel, Oscar, and Emma). They all get along great, and ive had them all out for free flying time to get use to eachother for the past week, and doing so has paid off tremenously!!! As not fights or squabbles have broken out, and everyone loves oneantoher... UPDATE: Belle laid another egg today Grace, Toby and Quin are still in the nest!!! The eggs been addled i think as i saw Quin runnign around in the nest kicking the egg like a soccer ball...and everytime i go in the next the eggs always moved around..also at one point it was cold, yet others steaming hot. I do NOT want them to have more babies in a row (even though theyve only had 1 clutch) i want them to breed every few months instead of 2 times right back to back. So, now that Lucky and Tweety are in the big cage, theres only 3 babies (Grace is still in nest but comes out a lot and learnt how to at herself yesterday, then Toby was out today in the food cup trying to learn how to eat, and Quin is still in the nest loving bed-in-breakfast  (Laughing out loud) ). So, should i move Belle back in the big cage and let Kirby feed Grace, Toby and Quin? I think Kirby will feed them, hes a GREAT DAD!!!!! And feeding his family is always his first priority... Kirbs
November 2, 200618 yr You could simply remove the eggs if you wish for this short time until you think Quinn can handle the time from the box. Kirby might do fine if you remove Belle and it is an option but keep in mind he might turn on the bubs after losing his partner. I'm gald they are all doing well. You will have to give us their final pictures before they leave for their new home.
November 3, 200618 yr Author Hey guys!
