September 21, 200618 yr 1. I can't see opaline in him but I agree with Greywing sky blue. 2. Agree 3. Green Cinnamon Opaline hen 4. Yellowface type 2 Clearwing.
September 22, 200618 yr I see the blue running mostly through the top of the wings not the bottom? still opaline or not?
September 22, 200618 yr Not opaline, as the bars are formed normally and run all the way down the back - no "V" of body color. And I say dilute instead of greywing skyblue, as the wing color to me carries the same degree of dilution as the body. Although confusing, as greywings are diluted. But the wings are too light to be greywing. Greywing is 50% dilution from normal, and those wings are more than 50%.
September 24, 200618 yr Here is a new female Recessive Pied Green sf ? dominant pied opaline Green sf ? Edited September 24, 200618 yr by Bidou
September 26, 200618 yr I really like the new one.. my guess would be dominant pied opaline grey green.
September 26, 200618 yr It looks both do you know the age of the bird? Looks around 4 months, you may have to wait to see if the iris rings appear around 6-12 months which would indicate dominate pied. The patterns of the wings are more even and the coloring is up and around the neck which can denote dominant pied but recently we have seen these on the boards with no iris rings and over the age of 12 months which has caused quite a conversation of recessive or dominate. I am going to go with olive not grey green because the cheek patches look blue not silver on my screen :ausb:
