I was finally able to take some photos of the budgies that I got from the Humane Society. And also photos of everybody.

This is Anthony (pale blue) that I got from the Humane Society and my Monkey Bird. They were crazy tonight:

Thanks for all the comments!

Anthony is extremely excited to be around other budgies and he's extremely active and chases everybody right now. Which I guess is good as far as them getting their exercise...he keeps everyone on their toes. He's also a biter...nasty one. But I'm hoping over time he'll forget about chewing up humans.

It looks like Caesar and Alex have never been allowed out of their cage before, nor does it seem they were ever handled. It's been a lot of work just to get them this far where I can even get them outside of the cage. They can't fly well and they can't land well...but I do notice improvement. They probably didn't know that they could fly and I think they are a bit overwhelmed by all the activity of my other birds who are quite insane as far as noise and abrupt take offs and landings...you know how it is..one moment everybody is sitting still on the perches calmly and then they all bolt leaving you to wonder how they all knew to go at the same time...what was that signal...was it a look?

Caesar will at least fly around a bit and he's learning from the other birds where to land etc., but poor Alex refuses to budge from the play stand. She will just sit there and watch. And she's the one who needs excercise the most, she's a whopping 52 grams.

Thanks,

Maureena

you have a very goergous flock .

Alex reminds me of my Popcorn , she would come out of the cage and she would stay at the play gym watching my other birds fly around but after a couple of months she started to fly around with the others .:P
