Help, I mentioned earlier that I got a new budgie...I quarantined the budgie from my original budgie and was finally able to introduce them and it took only a week of intros and they are pretty fast buddies. I bought them a brand new large cage and put them in it yesterday and now Casper (my original budgie that I have had since May) is really "vicious" with me. He was never nice to anyone else in the family but I could stick my finger in his cage without a problem, he would hop on it and give me kisses, and let me rub his head, etc., but now he wants to rip a piece off of me. Is this because of the new budgie? Could it be just because of the new cage and new roommate?

 

Help, it is very hard to pay any attention to him when he is so mean!!

Perhaps you should read my thread. I had a similar problem when introducing a new bird.
