Tweety is really hormonal and not giving Bazza any rest. She panicked when we put her in a breeding cabinet, so badly we took her out. and put a breeding box in her large cage. She will sit on it, look around but just wont go in.

Is there anything I can use instead of a breeding cabinet. She has always been in a large cage, so maybe she just doen't like being 'walled in"

She is 2 1/2 and he is 2 yrs.

Hi Cindy, the best breeding cage is the largest. She obviously prefers the larger area.

how long has the box been there? It can take some hens a while to check out the box.

1. The box has been in there for 2 weeks Nerwen, prior that 1 month on on the bottom of the cage when she did not like the breeding cabinet.

 

2. Daz, She is in a big cage

 

I think I may just let her be
