Oh Noooo…. I Did It Again!

Yes, it’s true… I confess… last week I bought a new one… :bluebudgie:

Well, I was passing by the pet shop, stopped to look at the budgies cage because they had just received a new bunch… and there where these two alike looking budgies (brothers for sure, looking the same age and both males), and suddenly there it was, that old devil  telling me to: “Buy one, you know you want to!”.

I didn’t, I passed by the store the day after and still resisted, and then the day after again, but the day after that, one of them was gone… guess what? Yes, I couldn’t resist any more so I bought the remaining one.

I’m still thinking about what to call him, maybe Poseidon (Greek God, Ruler of the sea), Pontus (Greek God of the deep sea) or Aeolus (Greek God of the Winds). :budgiedance:

Here he is:

Ooooo....I wouldn't have been able to resist either! He's gorgeous! :budgiedance:

:budgiedance: You showed remarkable restraint on day one and two Luso. I wouldnt have been able to resist either. I think ....Aeolus (Greek God of the Winds) sounds appropriate for a winged creature who is handsome enough to be god-like.... :bluebudgie:

I was thinking the same as Karen - Aeolus - great name!!

He is stunning :bluebudgie:

Thank you for all the compliments! :D

Regarding the name, Aeolus seems to have a head start…

Poseidon – 0

Pontus – 0

Aeolus – 2

I would be glad to have everyone’s opinion, so please do post your vote!

I like Aeolus and I can see why you took him, I think I would have had trouble leaving the two there.

Aeolus it is! :)

Now that the “new guy” has been named I’d like to thank you all for your participation.

Lovey, don’t be sad cause Poseidon will be used, probably next year when my budgies get the chance to breed again. I’m sure that a little Poseidon will come up! :D

What a beautiful little guy!!! I just named my newest one Aries...(Laughing out loud)...Ours look quite alike and both have Greek-ish names!

I couldn't resist getting him...I guess my mom couldn't either :D:P

Plus when we got one we have to get another one so they won't be the odd one out and have no mate..(Laughing out loud)
