hello, my budgie is breeding at the moment and is on 4 chicks, and i dint realise till now that it had a build up of droppings on its toe nail. well just a 1 hour ago i tred to take it off with hot water, but then the toe nail split and cut the blood vessel, it didnt loose much blood at all, and stoped a few seconds after. a person from my bird club told me to put vasaline on its toe.

Do you think theres anything else i can do?? and du u think she will be okay

She will be fine. Just check on her over the next few hours to make sure the bleeding doesn't start again. Cornflour is also good to stop small injuries.
