but my question is when he tries to step on her she pushes him away or hitts him away.

is that he isnt the age yet or what/

It might pay to allow him to grow up a bit longer. Even if he can mate aat this age he may not be mature enough to help raise babies. Your hen either doesnt like him right now or isn't ready to breed. Give them a break and try again in a few months time. He must be at least 12 months or older to be a resonsible dad to babies.

Its possible she would find his mating attempts clumsy and inexperienced and maybe he is being too forceful. She would reject him if she feels that way too, but she may not be ready to breed either.
