Kazza had a bit of fun before falling out of the box to the the cage floor, then the silly gilr lept out of my hands when I checked her and tryed her wings but missed the table top by a few centremetres and crashed to the floor :fear She is alright but don't think she will try that again all to soon.

Tingle out yet again this morning, and trying some of the food. Cupid is HUGE but a big baby still even though she can balance on the branch, she sits in the nest box all the time.

 

Marine was just shoeing Tingle that fresh food is yummy. And I put Cupid out of the box into the cage for osme out time and she is playing with both seed and sprouts

I love this stage they are at....just so darned cute

It is. Cupid and Tingle have been testing out the fresh food themselves, tingle has carrot stains around her beak in the picture.

 

Just found Kazza ( who is starting to look like a male now!) out of the box again (9 pm) so I poped him/her back in.

All is good today Cupid and Tingle are still out and about and i got to watch them nibble at the fresh food this morning and Cupid is right now copying dad and picking at the seed.

 

Kazza was out again with afternoon and I was told he has been out a while, then the silly one climbed first to by shoulder than around to the middle of my neck and then half way onto my head burying into my hair

Things are going well with all. I will try for pictures tommorrow.

 

Tingle and Cupid both try the fresh food, millet and normal seeds and ar out of the nest for most of the day but hang out on the bottom of the cage rather than the branchs although both can balance.

 

Storm spend a bit of time out day (about half the day) and had a play with the sprouts. Darel had ventured out once and climbed straight up to the branch begging for food, lost his balance and was hanging upside down :(Laughing out loud): He got himself back up which I thought was great. But hasn't been out again.

 

Kazza was trying to get out this morning but couldn't work out how to get the second foot out of the box to balance on the perch there. Not sure how he ended out but was out this afternoon nibbling at the fresh food dish and is now sitting again on his low perch.

 

Oh and Kaz you need to learn some manners it's not nice to bite!

 

Opal and Libra are both going to be whiteface cobalts (sky violets) like Storm.

That reminds me... I need to put up some photos. I will have two leaving the breeding cage on Saturday for the nursary...

 

Nerwen the last chick of Bluey and Jazz turned out the be a dominant pied greywing skyblue cock.

Oh and Kaz you need to learn some manners it's not nice to bite!

My Mum said when I was a kid in a pram I used to bite everyone !! So Kazza takes after me. Maybe now that Kazza is a boy you might want to change his name to Kazzar ? Or Czar ?

Well the last chick that Jazz has is a Dominant Pied Skyblue Male A very beautiful bird. I'll try to get a photo of him
