Between Amira and Buster I go through 2 toys a week so I've decided to make my own toys. I got started last night and here's how far I got. I'm waiting for my popcicle sticks to finish in the dye.

 

 

On the first toy, you'll probably want to use larger beads. Pony beads or bigger. Just in case they break the toy (my conure does this very easily and she's smaller than a meyer's) the bead shouldn't be small enough to swallow. The bigger ones on that second toy look just right! Looks good. :glare:

Those look great for budgies. I've used undied popsicle sticks for toys and they still love to chew on them.

(Laughing out loud) yeah the one with little beads wasn't supposed to be for Amira but Buster was ignoring it so I gave it to her to get the picture :glare: she really did like it though. Thanks Terri, I'll definitly use the bigger beads on the ones I make for Amira.
