If i put an untame guy budgie (from my aviary) in with little miss Squeaka will she still be tame???

Or will she turn wild like him???

it really depends on the bird and the bond you have to start with, if the one you are wanting to add is an outgoing fellow he might tame down inside when he sees Squeaka with your, or it could go the other way and she feeds of his fear of you and hand and becomes less tame.

My question is why take a wild one from your aviary? Is it for companionship? How old is the one you plan on taking? I worry about the one that has been able to be wild and free and fearful of humans could have a lot of undue stress on it taking it away from its flock.

 

Since you breed have you thought about keeping a baby from your next clutch and taming it as soon has it hatches and then having this one as a companion? This seems more logical.

 

I don't know the whole situation and I know that wasn't really your question (Nerwen answered it) but I am throwing out suggestions to make a new companion a fun and easy task vs a stressful for both birds.
