What kind of budgies do we have? Would anyone be kind enough to enlighten us?

 

This is Mabel I Hope she's a girl? Or the other Budgies will tease her with a name like Mabel

Dear Moderators, I hope these pictures are the correct size. It is my first go at this so be kind.

Pretty birds. I can't really tell what Mable is since the picture is so bright.. but I think that she is a female. It doen't look like she is a normal green, maybe a cinnamon - a picture of her back would help.

 

Mr and Mrs Wally look like normal sky blues.

 

Dave might be a light or dark green opaline spangle. I'm not really sure though.

I agree with Hurdy. FOr Dave look at the flight wings and you can see the thin line easily.

 

The size is fine :hap: good work. They all look great are you planing on breeding?

Thanks for telling us what the budgies are called. There are so many different kinds, it is really amazing.

I will try to get a better picture of Mabel.

 

I am planning to join the local club and do more reading before we consider breeding.
