Well i was very brave and released it far away from the house over the road and down the street. Heheheh i had to cover the trap with a towel so the mouse didn't touch me!!! I would die if it did!!!! I just hope its not a homing mouse(like the homing pigeons) or I might be in trouble :P

i dont want to rain on your parade but you might not of released it far enough away dont know if anybody saw river cottage on tv he had mice and released them in a field i think and he marked them with lipstick to see if they came back and in within two weeks they were back

I thought about putting some nail polish on the little guy, but didn't want to get tooo close ewwww. I hope i catch his family tonight!!!!!!

Gross! Mice are scary, especially gross wild ones....the pet ones are okay. :)

I have that same mousetrap and also baited it with peanut butter, but no mouse will go in it !! :P Maybe my mice are smarter than the average mouse, but I would really like to catch them and remove. Those traps are desinged to catch em alive to release but also to catch them and dunk trap and all in a bucket of water if you feel the need to give you freshly caught mouse "swimming lessons" :)
