Posted August 15, 200619 yr Good evening! I found this site today so I haven't had much time to get to know you guys... But I didn't notice any members from northern Europe, and I decided to join in! So, something about me... I'm a 27-year-old girl/woman/female from Finland. I live in Vantaa (next to Helsinki), southern Finland. I live with my husband (or whatever, we are not married) and we have two budgies. We got them last november, and they are ten months old now. The birds are siblings. Sorry for my poor English I hope to get interesting information about budgies. Good nigh now, I must go to bed because I'm going to work early tomorrow.

August 17, 200619 yr ...Vantaaish... I'm not sure if that really was a joke I suppose so... My budgies are called Sulo (male) and Sirkku (female). The names are normal finnish (human) names. If you wanted to translate them, Sulo could mean something like "cute lovely boy" and Sirkku could mean "chirping girl". Of course that's only my opinion, that's how I understand the names. As a person's name they don't mean anything. (We don't have indian names in Finland, like "Dances with wolves". Many of the names are same as aroud the world, like Maria or Peter.) I will add some pictures later, when I have more time. First I have to learn a bit more of using this site. I'm really bad with computers
