I am so glad I found this forum. I live in Melbourne.

I have had some questions that I wanted answered and I can't believe how quick and helpful you have been.

 

We have four budgies, two blue and two green.

My daughter wants to be a vet and is really interested in birds. She lets them fly around her bedroom while she is doing her homework. She is reading and learning about budgies, breeding, types, care and taming.

It has been a great experience having these cute little helicopters in our home.

 

We don't plan on breeding, but two of them are looking kinda friendly!?!

Don't worry friendly is very normal :(Laughing out loud): it doesn't mean they want to have babies My boys are very friendly with each other.

Hello and Welcome! We are glad to have you. I don't think there is a better forum out there for budgies.

 

It's wonderful your daughter has a love for birds. Give her some encouragement from me to continue - avian vets are so few and far between, but definitely worth their weight in gold if you can find one. Her services will be in high demand. It certainly would be a very rewarding career.
