August 13, 200618 yr If she has cobalt on her she is blue series. She is also type 2 yellowface, as that is what makes the green color on a blue bird. She sounds pied, is she?
August 13, 200618 yr she sounds wonderful now where are these pictures ?*taps foot* I'm with Rainbow in wondering about pied as well.
August 13, 200618 yr Author Heres my new little stunning female Tweety!!! These pics are her TRUE colours... But they turned out darker in the pics than what i was hoping You can see how on her lower stomach, its a 'ice' blue, or a light blueish colour, same with a 'collar' around her head underneeth the yellow face She also has blue and yellow on her wings (mixed in the cinnamon colour) and you can see it in some pics of her backside :hap: (Laughing out loud), enjoy guys! Heres a quick preview.. then the album is on link under this one... http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e104/pet...ty/MVC-004F.jpg http://s38.photobucket.com/albums/e104/pet...cal&media=image Kirby :hap: Edited August 14, 200618 yr by Rainbow
August 14, 200618 yr She's very cute, Kirby! I replied in your other thread that she is almost the same color as my greywing. My vote is type 2 yellowface skyblue opaline.
August 14, 200618 yr Author YAAAAAAAYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) THATS PERFECT!!! Exctly what i wanted!!! YAYYAYAYYA!!! (Laughing out loud) Thanks! Yes she looks like the same colour as the 2nd bird or the middle bird on the cage in your signatue! YAYAYAY! (Laughing out loud) Kirby
August 14, 200618 yr She is beautiful Nathan! I love her. Lucky you!!!! You I'm sure she and Tango will make lovely babies. Is she a dilute cinnamon yellowface 2 opaline? WOW!!!
August 14, 200618 yr Author hahah Thanks Shawna! Actually, her hubby to be is my cobalt spangle Oscar, Tango was a green spangle whom i had to sell... You think shes a blue serired yellow face then? Shes VERY turquise, and sea-green, but has blue mixed in a lot, so thats why people think yellow face type II, but Karens got me thinking green becuase Tweety and her Bungee are almost identical (Laughing out loud) In all, im hoping she is a yellow face blue, to get yf spangles with Oscar But i now think shes a green series, so i guess time will tell wont it? (Laughing out loud) Kirby
August 14, 200618 yr Kirby, is she more like this with the colors? This was after the 1st baby molt. I don't think your new bird is green at all.
August 14, 200618 yr Author YESSSSS RAINBOW!!!!!!!!!!! She looks VERY similar to that! U bet after 1st moult, shell look IDENTICAL TO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYAYA SO WHAT COLOUR IS IT? Thanks Rainbow! Kirby
August 14, 200618 yr Very pretty bird! Hope she settles in better than Tango did. Here's to hoping for some cool looking baby budgies (eventually).
August 14, 200618 yr Author Thanks Lisa! Im still mad at Tango for being so rude to you and your family I thought shed be much better that how she was/is Tweetys great already! Stepping up, kissing my lips, licking fingers, and nibbling arm hair If this is only day 1, think how good shell be in future! And shes VERY flirtatious!!! Flirting with every male in the cage at store, and havign a blast with every toy in her cage now I Love her already! Kirby
August 14, 200618 yr Tango is a good bird. She just doesn't seem to want to be hand-tame. I keep plugging away at it though. One day it'll happen. My brother had a budgie once named JJ. He eventually was somewhat handtamed and allowed out of his(?) cage. JJ was a nice bird, but he did bite once in awhile. I must say that Tango has never ever bitten me. I appreciate that alot! (JJ looked like this - normal)

August 15, 200618 yr She is ADORABLE!!! I love her, Kirby you're sooo lucky!! Are you planning on taming her or is she to be just a breeding bird? Edited August 15, 200618 yr by Mackenzie_b
August 19, 200618 yr Author Hey there! In quaranteen i try and tame all my birds, if they are breeders or not. So far, she LOVES me already and its only been 6 days! She runs to my hand when i open cage, when out of cage she stay on arm and nibbles the hair, when she tries to fly to see other birds she runs RIGHT back to my hand and poofs up (meaning shes relaxed), lets me rub her beak, rub her chubby lil cheekies, and she trust me a lot as you can see overall The name Emma suits her WAYY BETTER than Tweety, and im very excited for her to meet my other flock, as i bet the males will fight for her cuteness (Laughing out loud) Heres a picture that looks EXACTLY like her! Like honestly, when Emmas older, ill get confused whos who! Here it is: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Bluffs/1958/mint2.jpg So what colour is that? Emmas a cinnamon opaline FOR SURE, but were trying to figure out if shes green series, or a yellow face skyblue type II... Thansk guys! Kirby
