Thanks guys :)

He is a very quite boy and 'guards' his food :(Laughing out loud): as if i"m going to take it away. I have once again found a bird not a magor fan of millet he hasn't touched the spray I gave him from the start, but I'm sure that will change as Thistle now digs in as much as the rest when they get some. He is starting to call out to the others a bit more today so I think he is settling down.

:ausb: Kree is a very majestic looking budgie, are you sure you don't want to call him. "Superman"? :(Laughing out loud):

sorry Like I said the pictures are not the best, the light gave a red wash to a lot of the pictures. He is a grey-green spangle. I got to see his father and sister too ( think they where the ones it might have been brother) who are both breeding at the moment. The sister is a yellow DF spangle :fear

Lovey you are right grey-greens have a grayish cheek patch rather than a strong blue (deep blue/violet) cheek patch of a Olive.

Name I like so far:

Twister, Digit, Demetri and Banjo. Wondered about R2D2 ( or just R2)

Do you know how old he is?
forgot to ask for his exact age but he is over a year. His ring is red like Pie's so they might be the same age. :)

edit- i just saw his ring better and found out it's not red but purple. I can't find that colour on the list of years :) I'm not going to handle him now but later I'll try to read the number. nd just after typing that I remember the guy wrote out his ring info for me and the parents. His ring is CB 450 -5. I'm sure daz can read that for me :) but I think it means he was born last year.

Nerwen he is approximately 131/2 months old. He was hatched by a breeder in Caboolture Budgerigar Society and was number 450.

He is a Grey Green Spangle with very good wing markings.

Here is my Hen

thanks daz :fear it was the Cb that got to me but I think I worked it out later. Since the guy was trying to get me to sign up with them :) Not that I'm saying I won't but I'm still not sure if I want to.

:(Laughing out loud): It's funny I used your hen to show my friend what he looked like at tafe since their system blocks photobucket.

Well thank you, I feel honoured. :) ..... and some good news. She laid her first egg today. :glare:.

I am hoping that this will be a good clutch.

Male is light Green Opaline.

If all goes well the off springs should be:

Females - Opalines, Opaline Greys, Opaline Spangles, and Opaline Grey Spangles

Males - Green, Grey, Spangles and Grey Spangles but all split to Opaline.

I'll keep you up to date. :P
