april has scaly face as i am religisly treating it.She also has puffy cheeks, her cheeks hav spaced out more like a baloon, scaly face is growing on top. is this pa rt of scaly face?

hey, wot i meant by puffy cheeks is her cheeks have lost their feathers and they are looking real puffy. today even more scaly face wos growing on her cheeks and on bothe sides especially her left had been bleeding.

That doesn't sound like scaley face to me... can you get a picture?

I haven't heard of bleeding with scaley face. I would make a vet appointment to get her checked out, unless you have gotten this treatment from an avain vet already.

ya, the old guy at the petshop that has breeding budgies for 20 years said when they get scaly face, it can be sensitive and as we know april for french moult, well yeah, she tends to plonk on the ground and he did say that if they nock the scaly face it will bleed

I have dealt with scaly face in the past and yes it can bleed
