Posted August 11, 200619 yr okay. After seeing the pics of those dilute yellow face triplets, I had to go back to the petstore. The YF baby was still there but his beak looked a bit off and I was scared to bring him home in case he had the beginning stages of scaly face. Instead I brought home his brother. No yellowface but the most gorgeous dilute boy. Oh my. I'm not sure if he is a violet or mauve but he is very pretty. This last picture is blurry but shows his true colour because it was taken without a flash. So do you think he is a greywing or ordinary dilute?
August 11, 200619 yr Oh now Shawna 13 is not a lucky number you will have to go back and get another one or is that slot open for the YF Spangle He is gorgeous I love his coloration - you have such a variety of mutations it is wonderful. His diluations looks like it was from cobalt or mauve - lets see what the others day. So he would be a greywing _____________(fill in the blank) Edited August 11, 200619 yr by lovey
August 11, 200619 yr Author He definately needs a bath but I'll give him a few days to settle in. He seemed to be the most confident and active bird in the cage so I can't wait to see how he is when he settles in. I now have 7 females and 6 males. I wasn't going to get any more birds until my YF2 spangle but I just couldn't resist this little man. I'm constantly on the lookout for my YF2 spangle but no luck yet. I'm hoping that breeding Bella and Wylie might produce one.
August 11, 200619 yr I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MONTY!!!!!!!!! (Laughing out loud). I thought you said no more (Laughing out loud)... This guy is stunning though, so...(Laughing out loud) He looks EXACTLY like Oscars (my cobalt spangle) brothers... So im also curious as to what colour he is...? Kirby
August 14, 200619 yr Author Well here is another shot of my cute little guy. He is such an amazing little fella - already stepping up and sitting on shoulders. He seems to really enjoy people. He isn't chirping as much to the rest of the gang now. He sits content in his own little cage. He was a little angel while I clipped his wings. Wow! I thought Sylvester was easy to tame but he seems to be even better. Here he is with my niece. Oh, and I don't want to start a new post, so here is the rest of the gang. All 12 (Beka is there but can't see her head).
August 14, 200619 yr awesome your niece is beautiful and she looks so cute with your new budgie. Great picture of all your birds together.
