Hi everyone,

 

My cobalt female has been in the nest box several times today, when I was out feeding the budgies she went into the nest and then my skyblue male started tapping his beak on the outside of the box.

The female started cleaning the feathers out of the box.

Also the female runs around on top of the box.

 

Am I just being to pushy or will there be some eggs soon.

 

PS. I have not seen the two birds mating.

The same thing happened to me!!

 

They were still imature. Check out that the waxy layer above the beak of the male budgie is dark blue whilst the feamles's is brown (pink shows immaturity.) :parrot:

 

BDW if you at least saw the female getting used (ie entering) the nesting box. DO expect some eggs.
