Today belle laid her 1st egg . Tonight it is really cold and the egg feels really cold too. Angel sleeps on her eggs though. is this normal?

Oohh, sorry, i re-read your first post and that does make sense. If Belle's egg was only laid today that's pretty normal, many hens don't start sitting on their eggs till the second one is laid.
