My New Baby Budgie, Please Help With Name

I just came home with a little girlfriend, 16 weeks old, for Bug.

I bought her in petshop, she's been bought one time before but they gave her back and had wingclipped her when she was at their place, she has no primaries left

But she and Bugs already likes eachother

What shold I name her? I'm thinking of Cricket but I want more suggestions!

(I have a budgie named Bug and an amazon named Apple)

She's much bigger than little Bug already :hap:

I wish I could think of a good name but I'm really really horrible with naming animals. It takes me forever! At any rate, she's adorable. Luckily, she was given a decent wing clip, they could've done much much worse and many pet stores do.

One thing I have to remind you of is quarantine, especially in a pet store bird. She could be carrying a disease/illness without immediately showing any signs of it and should be kept in a separate room for at least 30 full days before ever having contact with your other bird. I can't even begin to say how important this is. It's heartbreaking to lose one bird, but to lose both would be even worse.

Going a little off topic (sorry!), what type of amazon do you have? I love their personalities except during the jeckyl and hyde hormonal periods, (Laughing out loud)!

aw she's absolutely gorgeous! i'm rubbish at picking names but i think Cricket really suits her!

I was going to quarantine her but Bug was there as a lightning (he was in another room but aparently flew over to us when he heard me and the bird) When theve already made contact I figured it was no use having her in quarantine, damage already been done.

I know the importance of quarantine since I lost a hole flock of budgies and tiels some years ago (none talked about quarantine back then) when a new bird (apparently sick) was introdused.

My amazon is a red-lored amazon male He's 2,3 years old so he hasn't reached maturity yet, but I'm actually exited about that period, thats why I chose I male, they are stunning at their hormonal periods
