Posted July 29, 200619 yr Hi my name is Jodie and I have 13 beautiful budgies!!! I have only had them for about 6 months and most are in the outdoor aviary. They all have names and their own little personalities! I love each and everyone of them!! A friend calls me the weird bird girl because i'm always going on and on about my birds. (I will post some pics as soon as i find out how.) I have 2 indoor birds Chucky and Stubby. Chucky is very tame and loves sitting on my shoulder and getting into all sorts of mischief. She is green with a yellow face. ( i don't know the proper colouration names but i'm sure i'll learn heaps here ) Stubby is a blue english budgie. He is not tame and screeches crazily if you even put your hand in his cage. He was in the aviary until he fell ill and the vet said he would do better in a small cage. He's a little whimp but thats why i love him. Looking forward to meeting some other budgie crazy people!!!!
July 29, 200619 yr Hi Jodie....Welcome! I can't wait to see some pics! Your birds sound wonderful.. I love how they all have their own unique personalities. I have 2 gorgeous budgies - Trixie is a girl who can be temperamental, & bites when annoyed (which is quite often!), & Bobby - a gorgeous boy who is curious, adventurous, cheeky - & is not scared to try anything! He brings out the best in Trixie, who would otherwise sulk in the corner. She can't bare to be apart from Bobby....& Bobby will always come to wherever Trixie is...they are so cute! I love them! July 29, 200619 yr Hi welcome Jodie, I can't wait to see all your babies :ausb: they sound wonderful. You will fit in great hear because we are those "wierd" bird people too . Merlin he is in my English in my siggy he is tame from the beginning does your English look similar?
July 29, 200619 yr Hi! Welcome to the forums! Like Lovey said, we're all weird bird people here, i have 20...something budgies...all with names and personalities. It's really great to be able to come here and talk about them seeing as all my friends look bored after 30 secs of bird talk. :(Laughing out loud):

July 30, 200619 yr Author Hi Yes lovey Stubby is just like Merlin only i think stubby may be fatter. I also have 3 other english budgies, a bright green girl called Gloria, her man Oliver who is an olive green and George who is A lighter green. I haven't got pictures of them yet. July 30, 200619 yr Your budgies look very happy sitting on their little wooden house! There are plenty of knowledgeable people here who'll be happy to tell you what colour your flock are. Chucky looks just like my Smudge, who is a yellowface type II and also opaline - which I learnt thanks to this forum, so I'm sure you'll find out what your birds are :bluebudgie:
