Napping...

My birdies seem to like napping during periods of inactivity. Could they be bored or what? I let them out to fly today and Woodie walked back into the cage all by herself! Of course I had to chase Cloud back, but that wasn't much of a struggle. Then they played with their climbing toy, chirrup, preen, nibble on their food...now they are resting with their beaks in their backs.

It probably is normal behavior and they must think it fine to nap like babies with classical music and having seen Momma nap on the couch, right?

By the way, they both always have one foot up their bodies, so I know health-wise they are doing fine. Are they possibly sleeping of boredom?

Just a question.

Perfectly normal. I work during the week, and notice on the weekends that the birds all have little naps during the time I am normally out :budgiedance: You think they don't show their displeasure at us stupid humans making a noise and interrupting their nap time????? :budgiedance:

Personally, I love a daytime nap myself - or a Nanna nap as my kids call it :budgiedance:

:budgiedance: Perfectly normal to nap and mine seem to nap more in warm weather which you are probably having. :budgiedance:
