Hey guys! I havnt been on here for a while!

Ive been having a problem with ajax latley. Im all for happy budgie chatter and i know they are going to be noisey-i dont mind at all. EXCEPCT when Ajax is making the same ear-shattering noise again and again and again! It gets extremly annoying, frustrating even, because for the past 2 weeks? its the ONLY noise she will make! No happy chatter just CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! She even does it quietly instead of her other "im goin to sleep" noises!!!Ive tryed rearanging her cage but she does it more...Pirate(her cage mate) Is very quiet compared to her. She has always had a limited amount of cheaps and chatters she will make, Is there anyway at all i can expand her vocabulary?

Do you talk to Ajax? Play music for them? If Ajax is chirruping then she must be pretty happy. My own birds are little noisemakers sometimes, but lets me know they are alive, happy, and healthy.

I talk to them alot. they get quite abit of attention as they are in the lounge and every one goes and says hi to them. She's actully quieted down by herself, except in the mornings when no ones up :

females are known to call along and make that 1 noise vs males who have more warbling going on. I would just continue with what you are doing and hope she expands a bit
