What Colours Would The Babies Be?

Featured Replies

Sisi and Diamond are so much in love :( .

I'm just thinking about breeding them one day - when they are older and I build new aviary :D - next year maybe.

What colour could the chicks be? Are there any problems with breeding lutinos?

Here are their pictures

Thanks a lot :hap:

Is the yellow an Ino or a DEC or a DF spangle? I can't see the eye colour from here.

I don't really understand what you mean by an Ino, etc. :) . I thought the yellow one is a lutino (red eyes), but maybe she's not :D

Yes Zebra...(Laughing out loud)

Ino refers to the 'Lutino" or "Albino" in a bird.... So yes she is a Lutino... We just cant see eye colour 100%...

Kirby

YOur right, the fact she has red eyes makes her a Lutino. It's just we can't see the red in the picture. There are other genes that can make an all yellow or all white bird.

You will get grey geen normals and grey green spangles.

If your hen is split for blue ( one of her parents where blue) then you can get ones to look like dad (grey spangle) and grey normals.

All the boys of the clutch will carry the Ino (lutino) gene.

Does this make sence?

those will be some pretty babies especially the grey greens spangles.

Thank you all a lot :D .

I'll wait for some time with this, but I think these two will make great parents :)

I can't wait to see their babies.
