Only recently I showed you all pics of Mac, a baby budgie I had recently bought home. Well, on Tuesday night when I came home I noticed that he was wheezing and having difficulty breathing. I knew that it looked really bad, and I nursed him for nearly two days but on Thursday moring I woke up to find him dead. I hadn't even had him for two weeks and I was really upset.

I realize now that Mac was probably already sick when I bought him. He seemed very tame, (although he wasn't hand-reared) but now I think it was more because he was sick.

We rang the place where I got him and they said I could have another baby so I thought I'd post some pics of him.

 

 

 

He still doesn't have a name, so I was hoping for suggestions. Thanks.

OH NO!!!!!! Poor lik Mac! I remember someone saying "He looks sick"... Poor lil guy, fly free lil man!

 

The new guy is GORGEOUS! I love him already to! You have a good breeder who has gorgeous coloured babies! What about the names Lilo, Lokie, Alex, Alec, Manky, Slinky, Piggy, Toaster, Yolkie, Sunny, Soleil, Hank, Nemo, Noah (as in he had animals come two by two, and this is 1nd bird ), Vertigo (green in french, with igo on end, (Laughing out loud)), Ozzie, Oscar, Sammy, Areo, Bailey, Simon, Charlie, Cujo, Zeus, Brady, Austin, Fergus, Regis, Riley, Santo, Kirby, Petro, Gabriel, Gaston, AJ, Bogey, Kramar, Kaser, Quincy, or even Shiloh? Good luck with this lil man

Thats sad . And did you find out what was wrong with him? Maybe you should take the new one to an avian vet to make sure he's not ill too (because he is from the same place?!)

Poor baby...sorry to hear you lost your new baby.

I would check the new one out ASAP to make sure it was not a contageous problem at the breeder.

 

What a beautiful new bird...I've not seen one like him before.
