Posted July 20, 200618 yr Aviary said it was male but could not help me on mutation. I'm taking her word on it that it was male as of the extremely slight blue in the cere. He's currently in quarantine, plan to have him there two weeks. Right now i'm thinking of the name 'Hawkeye' dedicated to the lovable M*A*S*H character. Any other ideas? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v724/vip...ds/newbirdy.jpg Edit: Photo has been changed to a link as it was too big. 450 x 450 is the maximum. Edited July 20, 200618 yr by daz
July 20, 200618 yr Hello, your budgie is a male, but I can't help you with his colour - not very good with mutations . I like the name you've chosen
July 20, 200618 yr Yep I agree with Daz :hap: You really need to quarantine for 30 days, you can read about it in Daz's siggy. I like the name you chose it seems to fit him.

July 22, 200618 yr Author Alright my partner and I decided to scrap the Hawkeye idea because we came up with something much more suiting. Whenever the bird would chirp, it would be two chirps together, every single time.. Because of this, we thought 'Duo' would be a good name. Thanks for the suggestions everyone! Duo is stepping up every now and again, has flown to me on two seperate occasions (well glided more, having both wings clipped) and is quite happy to sit on my shoulder. Not bad after it's second night with me.
